Jean Paul came up through the New York City electrical union working on the MTA subway system — one of the most complex transit electrical environments in the world. Third rail infrastructure, tunnel lighting, station electrical, signal systems — not as an outside contractor looking in, but as a union tradesman who knew the work from the ground up.
